Effective pedagogical tools
The media library
This pillar of Reims Management School research and pedagogy has new premises which enable it to welcome all teacher-researchers, and the students from all the group’s different schools
Users can access 24 professional data banks (international titles, academic journals, professional journals, statistics, international market studies, company results…) 15,000 works, 320 paper magazines, 20,000 electronic magazines and 1,000 research papers.
These premises offer 1140 m2, 280 seats, WIFI access, 30 desktop computers, copiers, printers, group work rooms.
The media library team offer regular assistance to all users.
IT equipment
Reims Management School has more than 100 work stations in several computer rooms, and 1,500 broadband connections.
Both campuses are equipped with WIFI; all classrooms are equipped with network plugs.
Reims Management School also has:
- an interactive multimedia laboratory with 25 work stations
- an online trading room
- a computerized simulation center
However, the school requires students to buy a laptop, essential in particular for group work.
The Simulation Center
The pedagogy of the Reims Management School simulation center is based on learning through experience.
Students work as a team in virtual companies. Their assignment is to solve the management problems submitted to them.
The center has a large choice of simulations which illustrate functional specializations (Marketing, Sales, Finance, Accountancy, Production, Research and Development) as well as company general policy.
In addition to acquiring fundamental or specialized knowledge, the simulation center also enables students to acquire tools that will useful for their future career paths (transversal view of issues, team spirit, spirit of competition, market orientation, business intelligence and performance management, time management, ability to convince, working in English).
The trading room
In cooperation with Bloomberg, Reims Management School has operated a trading room since 1999. A very effective pedagogical and research medium, it enables students, professors and guest professors to access real time data on financial places worldwide, thanks to the Bloomberg terminals.
The observatory on new technology securities:
It is a website providing stock market analysis and synthesis and a pedagogical tool available to professors, students and all investors.
