Test 1: Personal dossier and letters of recommendation (weighting 1)
Personal dossier
Candidates must register online (link here, available January 10th, 2012).
After registration the candidate completes his personal dossier online.
The personal dossier is made up of open and closed questions.
It will enable the admissions board to assess the candidate's motivation, analytical ability and quality of written expression.
The personal dossier is marked, so it is important to complete it carefully.
Letters of recommendation
The applicant must present two letters of recommendation at the beginning of the entrance exams:
The first written by one of his teachers,
The second written by a person of his choice who he considers best suited to recommend his application to TEMA.
Test 2: Group problem solving (weighting 1, duration 45 minutes)
Under the observation of two assessors, a group of candidates must solve a simple problem and propose a plan of action. The aim of this exercise is to assess each candidate's organisational skills, teamwork skills, analytical skills and creativity.
Test 3: Interview (weighting 1, duration 30 minutes)
The interview panel jury have available to them the candidate's personal dossier, completed online (see test 1).
The candidate must present the reasons why he wishes to join TEMA.
The panel will particularly look at the candidate's interest in TEMA in the light of the interests and projects presented by the candidate.
Test 4: English (weighting 1, duration 45 minutes)
The test includes two parts:
1) Listening comprehension
After listening to a short text, the candidate will complete a multiple-choice test of 20 questions aimed to assess his listening skills.
2) Reading comprehension
After reading a one page text, the candidate will complete a multiple-choice test of 20 questions.
Test 5: Managerial synthesis (weighting 1, duration 45 minutes)
The candidate must make a synthesis of 3 topical texts dealing with the use of new technologies in companies.
